Rusal Suspends Aluminium production in nigeria

Nigeria's highest court in July revoked the 2007 sale of the Alscon smelter to Rusal, saying BFI Group was the highest bidder. It ordered the agency in charge of the privatization in Nigeria to complete the sale of the smelter to BFI Group.
Last month BFI Group said it has started the process to formally take over Alscon. Rusal says it remains the smelter's rightful owner and has appealed to the London Court of International Arbitration.
